Hooyong performing Arts Centre has supported the general creation by about 200 multi-genre artists from 20 countries through 'Artist-in-Residency' since 2002, and the artists who went through the residency are unfolding the originative art world in the stage of world! 2017 Hooyong Performing Arts Centre 'International Artist-in-Residency supports the artists' experimental creation and the cooperation among overseas-domestic artists under the common theme of '21c Democract'! OPEN CALL Date : 27th Aug - 25th Sep. 2017 (30days) Venue : Hooyong Performing Arts Centre (wonju-si, Gangwon-do, S.KOREA) Deadline : 18th Jun, 24:00 (KOREA standard time) ※ It is dividied into the Field 1 and Field 2. ◆ Field 1. - Discipline : Act, Writing, Installation art, Dance, Performance, Genre that cooperation is possible - Gqulification for application : Artists who were recommended by culture art center of public institute (Individual) Artists who can participate in all schedules(30days) of the residency - Conditions 1. Round trip airfare 2. Artist fee US＄1,000(TAX inclu) *The tax ratio by countries is different depending on whether or not concluding an agreement with Korea about the international tax. 3. Accommodation and Board (Dormitory where 10 people reside jointly) 4. Studio, Indoor/outdoor work space 5. Theme research : Visited Koreaen modern history space and participated in special lecture about humanities 4. Region research : Participated in local cultural exchange, conducting the open studio for visitors 5.
